Mvuezolo's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old British forward Joe Mvuezolo (197-F-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for Nhatrang Dolphins and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out Heat (#1, 13-5) 94-91. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Dolphins maintains the 4th position in Vietnamese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Dolphins will need more victories to improve their 9-6 record. In the team's last game Mvuezolo had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Dolphins' top player in his first season with the team. Montana State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mvuezolo is in league's top in points (3rd best: 23.1ppg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 2.1spg.

Second best performed player last round was Dominique Tham (195-C-1996). He is American center in his 3rd season at Dolphins. In the last game Tham recorded an impressive 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. It was enough for Nhatrang Dolphins to edge the higher-ranked Heat (#1, 13-5) by 3 points 94-91. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Dolphins consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 9-6 record is not bad at all. Tham is one of the most experienced players at Dolphins and similarly like Joe Mvuezolo has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Marquis Davison (196-G-2000, agency: Worldwide SM) of Danang Dragons (#5). Davison showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Davison's great performance the Dragons lost 76-84 to the higher-ranked Catfish (#2, 10-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Dragons can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Davison has individually a great season in Vietnam. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (8th best), rebounds with 12.2rpg (6th best) and assists with 3.6apg (9th best).
