Peterson's 29 points and 9 assists give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old American guard George Peterson (188-G-1995) had a great game in the last round for Hanoi Buffaloes and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had the game-high 29 points adding eight rebounds and nine assists for Buffaloes in his team's victory, helping them to beat Dragons (#5, 4-9) 91-82. Buffaloes maintains the 3rd position in Vietnamese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Buffaloes will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. In the team's last game Peterson had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Buffaloes' top player in his first season with the team. Western Carolina University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Peterson is league's best passer with 8.1apg. Peterson is in league's top in and averages solid 2.8spg and 50.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Max Lee Allen (206-C-2002) of Danang Dragons. He is American center in his first season at Dragons. In the last game Allen recorded an impressive 34 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Dragons lost that game 82-91 to slightly higher-ranked Buffaloes (#3, 8-5). Dragons managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-9 record. Allen is a newcomer at Dragons and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.5ppg (#2). He also registered 12.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Mykal Jenkins (202-F-2000) of Nhatrang Dolphins (#4). Jenkins scored 18 points and grabbed 20 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Dolphins, leading his team to a 82-64 easy win against #2 ranked Catfish in a game of the week. Dolphins needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 6 lost games. Jenkins has a great season in Vietnam. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.9ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 15.2rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.3bpg and a FGP of 59.4%.
