Joe Mvuezolo was the second best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 33 points he had in the Dolphins

33 points scored by 29 year old British forward Joe Mvuezolo (197-F-1996, college: Montana St.) made him the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Dolphins beat the Catfish 82 to 64. He also added 7 rebounds that evening. Mvuezolo is the 4th best scorer in the league averaging over 22 points and over 8 rebounds per game. All of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
He is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on four different continents. He has played previously professionally in Austria (Kapfenberg Bulls), Germany, Indonesia (Hangtuah), Ireland (Maree), Spain (Cazorla, Algeciras and Moron), Venezuela (Spartans), United Kingdom (Sharks, London City Royals and Scorchers), and Thailand (Devil Rays, Tigers and Thai General Equipment).
Among many awards he played in the final of the Thailand Basketball League in 2023. Mvuezolo was also selected as the Asia-Basket.com All-Thailand Basketball League Defensive Player of the Year back in 2019. He was selected to the Asia-Basket.com All-Thailand Basketball League First Team between 2019 and 2022.
