Hassan Thomas gets MVP of the Week award for Vietnamese VBA (by Hoops Agents)

American Hassan Thomas (203-F-1996) had a very impressive game in the last round for Hanoi Buffaloes and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 28-year old forward had a double-double of 28 points and 18 rebounds, while his team crushed City Wings (#6, 1-11) with 23-point margin 102-79. Buffaloes maintains the 3rd position in Vietnamese VBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Buffaloes will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Thomas had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Buffaloes' top player in his first season with the team. Emporia State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Thomas is in league's top in points (5th best: 21.5ppg) and rebounds (7th best: 12.0rpg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Max Lee Allen (206-C-2002) of Danang Dragons. Allen impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 21 rebounds. Of course he led Dragons to another comfortable win 83-66 over the higher-ranked Catfish (#2, 7-3) being unquestionably team leader. Dragons' 5th position in the standings has not changed. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Dragons managed to get this year. Allen is a newcomer at Dragons and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.2ppg (#2). He also registered 12.4 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Dragons' star - American Marquis Davison (196-G-2000, agency: Worldwide SM). Davison showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Danang Dragons, helping his team with a 83-66 easy win against the higher-ranked Catfish (#2, 7-3). Dragons can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Davison has individually a great season in Vietnam. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.9ppg (9th best), rebounds with 12.5rpg (5th best) and assists with 4.2apg (8th best).
