Dominique Tham's triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Dominique Tham

28-year old American center Dominique Tham (195-C-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Nhatrang Dolphins and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He recorded a triple-double of 13 points adding also 24 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team outclassed Dragons (#6, 1-8) with 26-point margin 95-69. Dolphins maintains the 3rd position in Vietnamese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Dolphins will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. Tham has many years of experience at Dolphins, through which he has constantly improved. University of Mount Olive graduate has very impressive stats this year. Tham is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 14.0rpg), assists (7th best: 4.2apg) and averages solid 54.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Marquis Davison (196-G-2000, agency: Worldwide SM) of Danang Dragons. He is American guard in his first season at Dragons. In the last game Davison recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Dragons lost that game 69-95 to the higher-ranked Dolphins (#3, 6-3). This loss caused Dragons to slide to the very bottom (6) position in the standings. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Dragons managed to get this year. Davison is a newcomer at Dragons and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.4ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 13.0rpg and 3.9apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Dolphins' star - forward Mykal Jenkins (202-F-2000). Jenkins scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Nhatrang Dolphins, helping his team with a 95-69 easy win against the lower-ranked Dragons (#6, 1-8). Dolphins needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Jenkins has a great season in Vietnam. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.7ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 15.1rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.6bpg and a FGP of 62.2%.
