Jenkins' double-double lands him Player of the Week award

24-year old American forward Mykal Jenkins (202-F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Nhatrang Dolphins and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out Dragons (#6, 0-5), the league's bottom-ranked team 90-86. Dolphins maintains the 3rd position in Vietnamese league. They are still close to the very top. Dolphins would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. Jenkins has many years of experience at Dolphins, through which he has constantly improved. St. Petersburg College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jenkins is in league's top in points (2nd best: 28.0ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 15.2rpg) and averages solid 1.4bpg and 62.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Marquis Davison (196-G-2000, agency: Worldwide SM) of Danang Dragons. He is American guard in his first season at Dragons. In the last game Davison recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Dragons was edged by the higher-ranked Dolphins (#3, 4-1) 90-86. Dragons are still at the very bottom. 5 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Davison is one of the most experienced players at Dragons and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Dragons' star - center Max Lee Allen (206-C-2002). Allen showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Allen's great performance the Danang Dragons lost 86-90 to the higher-ranked Dolphins (#3, 4-1). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Dragons can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 5 games. Allen has individually a great season in Vietnam. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.6ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 10.8rpg (8th best).
