Dakota Zinser gets MVP of the Week award for Vietnamese VBA (by Hoops Agents)

American Dakota Zinser (191-G-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Can Tho Catfish and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 29-year old guard had the game-high 37 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Catfish in his team's victory, helping them to crush Dolphins (3-1) with 18-point margin 91-73. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Catfish is placed at 2nd position in Vietnamese VBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Catfish will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Zinser had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 15 attempts. He has many years of experience at Catfish, through which he has constantly improved. Palm Beach Atlantic University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Zinser is in league's top in points (5th best: 23.0ppg), assists (5th best: 5.3apg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 59.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Dominique Tham (195-C-1996) of Nhatrang Dolphins. Tham impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 19 rebounds. Bad luck as Dolphins lost that game 73-91 to slightly higher-ranked Catfish (3-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Dolphins still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Tham is one of the most experienced players at Dolphins and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Nhan Huynh Truc (180-G-2002) of Danang Dragons (#6). Huynh Truc scored 21 points and passed 4 assists. Despite Huynh Truc's great performance the Dragons lost 69-78 to slightly higher-ranked Buffaloes (#4, 3-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Dragons can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 4 games. Huynh Truc has individually a great season in Vietnam. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.3apg (7th best).

9. Marquis Davison (196-G-2000) of Dragons - 6 points, 19 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Hung Dang Thai (185-G-1993) of Catfish - 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
