Undefeated Dolphins (3-1) recorded its first loss in Nha Trang on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Catfish (3-1) 91-73. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dolphins. Strangely Dolphins outrebounded Catfish 45-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Dakota Zinser (191-1995, college: PBA) who scored 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Ukrainian forward Yevgen Sakhniuk (201-1995, college: Jefferson) chipped in 6 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Dominique Tham (195-1996, college: Mount Olive) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds. Dolphins' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Catfish have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Dolphins. Catfish will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dolphins will play at home against Dragons and are hoping to win this game.

It was a good game for American forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. George Peterson contributed with 18 points and 9 assists for the winners. Buffaloes' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Max Lee Allen (206-2002, college: Marist) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds for Dragons. Buffaloes maintains fourth position with 3-3 record. Dragons at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Buffaloes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dragons will play on the road against Dolphins (#3) in Nha Trang and hope to get finally their first victory.
