Scott's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

24-year old Canadian forward Jevonnie Scott (201-F-2000) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Saigon Heat and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 38 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Dragons (#6, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 88-80. It allowed Heat to take over top position in the Vietnamese league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Heat already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Scott had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Heat, through which he has constantly improved. Brock University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Scott is in league's top in points (4th best: 25.8ppg), rebounds (6th best: 11.8rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg,68.8% FGP and 42.1% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Chrishon Briggs (195-F-1995) of Ho Chi Minh City Wings. He is American forward in his first season at City Wings. In the last game Briggs recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Wings lost that game 74-97 to league's leader Dolphins (#2, 3-0). City Wings managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. 2 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Briggs is one of the most experienced players at City Wings and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.5ppg (#2). He also registered 12.5 boards per game. Former California State University Bakersfield star Briggs is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Joe Mvuezolo (197-F-1996) of league's second-best Nhatrang Dolphins. Mvuezolo showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Dolphins, leading his team to a 97-74 easy win against City Wings (#5, 0-2). Dolphins started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Mvuezolo turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Mvuezolo has a great season in Vietnam. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.7ppg (3rd best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
