The Regular Season in VBA just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Dragons in Danang on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Buffaloes 98-89. Buffaloes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard George Peterson (188-1995, college: WCU) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. His fellow American import forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) contributed with 29 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Buffaloes' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Max Lee (206-2002) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for Dragons. Buffaloes are looking forward to face Heat in Saigon in the next round. Dragons will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Heat which played road game in Can Tho against Catfish. Heat had an easy win 83-62. American swingman Elijah Weaver (197-1998, college: Chicago St.) stepped up and scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Jevonnie Scott chipped in 23 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Dakota Zinser (191-1995, college: PBA) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Heat will play against Buffaloes in Hanoi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Catfish will have a break next round.
