Buffaloes tab Eric Frederick, ex RASHI

Eric Frederick

The Hanoi Buffaloes (VBA) signed 35-year-old American forward Eric Frederick, who stands at 203cm and played college basketball at TxWes. He last played for RASHI Tbilisi in the Georgian Superleague.
He is a very experienced player. Frederick has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Echague), Colombia (Storm), Mexico (Frayles de Guasave and Libertadores), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli), Venezuela (Pioneros), Canada (Rainmen, London Lightning, Windsor Express and Montreal Jazz), Ecuador (Guerreros) and The Basketball Tournament (Beale Street Boys (Memphis Alumni)).
Among many awards, his team won the Georgian A League Regular Season in 2022. Frederick received the Eurobasket.com All-Georgian A-League Player of the Year award and the Eurobasket.com All-Georgian A-League Import Player of the Year award in 2022.
He graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in 2012 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. Frederick played for other colleges like Florida International University, Highland Community College, and Illinois.
