Defending champion Saigon Heat (VBA) agreed terms with 25-year-old American swingman Elijah Weaver (197cm-93kg-1998, college: Chicago State). He played most recently at NH Ostrava in NBL league in Czech Republic. In 10 games, he had 12.2ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.5apg, and 1.2spg last season.
He graduated from Chicago State in 2023 and it'll be his second season as a pro player. Weaver played for other colleges such as University of Dayton and University of Southern California.
