Will Tran
Canadian Will Tran (F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Dragons and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 46 points and ten rebounds, while his team crushed City Wings (#6, 6-11) with 21-point margin 104-83. Dragons maintains the 7th position in Vietnamese VBA. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Dragons have already lost 16 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Tran had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Dragons' top player in his first season with the team. Will Tran averages this season 12.7ppg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Dragons' star - young American point guard Jermaine Marrow (183-PG-1997). Marrow impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 33 points and 11 rebounds. Of course together with Tran he helped Dragons with another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked City Wings (#6, 6-11) 104-83. Despite this victory they still are dead at the bottom. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Dragons managed to get this year. Marrow is a newcomer at Dragons and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.9ppg (#8). His other stats are also decent: 5.9rpg and 3.7apg.
The third best performed player last round was American Joshua Keyes (201-F-1995, agency: PBAplayers Agency) of Catfish (#5). Keyes showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, seventeen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Catfish, leading his team to a 70-59 win against the higher-ranked Buffaloes (#1, 13-4). The chances of Catfish not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 10 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Keyes could try to bring Catfish's a little bit higher in the standings. Keyes has a very solid season. In 7 games in Vietnam he scored 21.9ppg. He also has 12.4rpg, 3.3apg, 2.7bpg and FGP: 59.5%. Keyes attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
