Barkley's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

27-year old swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-G/F-1996, agency: Haylett Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Saigon Heat and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
He had a double-double of 51 points and 10 rebounds, while his team was edged out by Dolphins (#4, 8-6) 99-95. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Saigon Heat was forced-out from the top positions in Vietnamese league. They are still close to the very top. But there are still few teams in the league, which Saigon Heat can lose the games to. Now they are 10-2 and hopefully next round will be better. In the team's last game Barkley had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Saigon Heat's top player in his first season with the team. East Carolina University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Barkley is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.6ppg. Barkley is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 17.1rpg), assists (2nd best: 6.8apg) and averages solid 64.8% FGP and 40.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Joshua Keyes (201-F-1995, agency: PBAplayers Agency) of Catfish. He is American forward in his first season at Catfish. In the last game Keyes recorded impressive double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Catfish lost that game 81-95 to the higher-ranked Buffaloes (#1, 11-3). Catfish managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Catfish managed to get this year. Keyes is a newcomer at Catfish and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. Former Muskingum University star Keyes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Anthony January (204-PF-1993, agency: Interperformances) of league's leader Buffaloes. January showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, twenty rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Buffaloes, leading his team to a 95-81 easy win against the lower-ranked Catfish (#6, 4-10). Buffaloes confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 3 lost games. January has a great season in Vietnam. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.4ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 15.8rpg (3rd best).
