Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Heat as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Heat smashed 6th ranked Catfish in Saigon 111-70. Heat dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Catfish's 32. Heat forced 19 Catfish turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Catfish's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) who added 28 points and 5 assists during the contest. American forward Joshua Keyes (201-1995, college: Muskingum, agency: PBAplayers Agency) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Heat have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Catfish at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Catfish will play next round against Dragons trying to get back on the winning streak. Heat will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Important game to mention about took place in Hanoi. Fourth ranked Warriors (8-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Dolphins (7-6) 86-83 in the fight for the third place. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by guard Sameen Swint (193-1995, college: GBC) who scored that evening 31 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and John Fields supported him with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Warriors' coach used entire bench in such tough game. Even a double-double of 21 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) by center Dominique Tham (195-1996, college: Mount Olive) did not help to save the game for Dolphins. Warriors have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Dolphins lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Warriors' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Hanoi to the arena Buffaloes.
