Fields' double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

35-year old power forward John Fields (205-F/C-1988, agency: Octagon Europe) had an amazing evening in the last round for Warriors and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat City Wings (#5, 3-7) 87-72. Warriors maintains the 4th position in Vietnamese league. Warriors is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. Fields has many years of experience at Warriors, through which he has constantly improved. University of Tennessee graduate has very impressive stats this year. Fields is in league's top in points (6th best: 23.8ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 17.4rpg) and averages solid 70.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Brachon Griffin (185-G-1992) of Catfish. He is American guard in his first season at Catfish. In the last game Griffin recorded impressive 29 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Catfish was edged by the higher-ranked Dolphins (#3, 7-3) 80-78. Catfish managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Catfish managed to get this year. Griffin is one of the most experienced players at Catfish and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.2ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 6.7rpg and 6.7apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Robert Sampson (203-F-1992) of Dolphins (#3). Sampson scored 24 points and grabbed twenty rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Dolphins, leading his team to a 80-78 win against the lower-ranked Catfish (#6, 2-7). Dolphins needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 3 lost games. Sampson has a great season in Vietnam. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.5ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 16.9rpg (4th best). He also has 1.6bpg and FGP: 65.2%. Sampson attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
