Fields number one in Vietnam VBA for round 11 (by Hoops Agents)

American Power forward John Fields (205-F/C-1988, agency: Octagon Europe) had an amazing evening in the last round for Warriors, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 35-year old player had a double-double of 34 points and 17 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Dolphins (#2, 5-2) 73-100. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Warriors maintains the 4th position in Vietnamese VBA. Warriors is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 4th lost game this season out of 7 games. Fields has many years of experience at Warriors, through which he has constantly improved. Former University of Tennessee star has very solid stats this year. Fields is in league's top in points (9th best: 22.3ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 17.3rpg) and averages impressive 65.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Madarious Gibbs (185-G-1993) of league's second-best Dolphins. Gibbs had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 11 assists. Of course he led Dolphins to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Warriors (#4, 3-4) 100-73. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Dolphins consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Gibbs is one of the most experienced players at Dolphins and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 8.3rpg and 8.4apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Dolphins' star - American center Dominique Tham (195-C-1996). Tham scored 23 points and grabbed sixteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Dolphins, helping his team with a 100-73 easy win against #4 ranked Warriors. Dolphins needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Tham has a great season in Vietnam. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.0rpg (8th best). He also has 2.5spg, 1.3bpg and FGP: 51.6%.
