    Hanoi held off Thang Long to sweep the semifinal series. Hanoi B. forced 22 Thang Long W. turnovers and had a 36-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Michael Bell (206-82, college: Florida Atlantic) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Swedish guard Stefan Nguyen (190-92) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Hanoi B. players scored in double figures. Naturalized American Justin Young (197, college: Cal Poly Pomona) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Jaywuan Hill (203-89, college: SW Baptist) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds.

    Can Tho stormed past Saigon Heat to advance into the championship series. Can Tho CF forced 20 Saigon Heat turnovers. American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St.) notched a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 21 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Tam Dinh-Thanh (192-95) supported him with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Four Can Tho CF players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds by American power forward Tavarion Nix (201, college: Midwestern St.) did not help to save the game for Saigon Heat. Khoa Tran-Dang added 19 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals for the hosts.
