    There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in VBA. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

    The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Can Tho CF (1-1) on the court of Saigon Heat on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Saigon Heat 89-74. Saigon Heat outrebounded Can Tho CF 43-32 including 29 on the defensive glass. American Tavarion Nix (201, college: Midwestern St.) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Khoa Tran Dang chipped in 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St.) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saigon Heat is looking forward to face Danang Dragons on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Can Tho CF will play against Hochiminh CW and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
    Important game to mention about took place in Hanoi. Thang Long W. (1-2) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging Hanoi B. (1-2) 63-62 in the game for the fourth place. American power forward Jaywuan Hill (203-89, college: SW Baptist) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and Justin Young supported him with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks by American forward Michael Bell (206-82, college: Florida Atlantic) did not help to save the game for Hanoi B.. Thang Long W. will play against Danang Dragons on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Hanoi B. will play against Danang Dragons to get more than just one victory in their record.
    The game in was also quite interesting. Danang Dragons (3-0) played at the court of Thang Long W. (1-2). Danang Dragons managed to secure a 6-point victory 76-70 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Zach Allmon who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. Jaywuan Hill produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Danang Dragons will meet Hanoi B. (#5) on the road in the next round. Thang Long W. will play again against Danang Dragons and hope to win that game.
    The game in Hochiminh supposed to be also worth to mention about. Hanoi B. (1-2) played at the court of Hochiminh CW (0-4). Hanoi B. smashed Hochiminh CW 88-62. Michael Bell orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hanoi B.'s next round opponent will be Danang Dragons at home and it may be the game of the week. Hochiminh CW will play against Can Tho CF (#3) and hope to win that game.

    In the last game of round 2 winless Hochiminh CW lost to undefeated Danang Dragons on the opponent's court 72-79.



    Thang Long W. - Danang Dragons 70-76

    The game in was also quite interesting. Danang Dragons (3-0) played at the court of Thang Long W. (1-2). Danang Dragons managed to secure a 6-point victory 76-70 on Saturday. Danang Dragons forced 24 Thang Long W. turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Danang Dragons made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Zach Allmon (203, college: Vanguard) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. The other American import forward Chris Dierker (201, college: Madonna) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Four Danang Dragons players scored in double figures. American power forward Jaywuan Hill (203-89, college: SW Baptist) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized American power forward Justin Young (201, college: Cal Poly Pomona) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Danang Dragons will meet Hanoi B. (#5) on the road in the next round. Thang Long W. will play again against Danang Dragons and hope to win that game.
