    The Regular Season in VBA just started. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

    Saigon Heat defeated Hochiminh CW at home 86-77. Saigon Heat made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Saigon Heat had a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of center Khoa Tran Dang who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 rebounds. American Tavarion Nix (201, college: Midwestern St.) contributed with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Quinton Doggett (206-90, college: Southern) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds for Hochiminh CW. Hochiminh CW will play next round against strong Danang Dragons trying to get back on the winning streak. Saigon Heat will try to continue on its current victory against Can Tho CF at home.
    Thang Long W. (0-1) recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by Can Tho CF (1-0) 77-74. American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 18 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners and Tam Dinh Thanh chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Trung To Quang responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Can Tho CF will play against Saigon Heat on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Thang Long W. will play against Hanoi B. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
    A very close game took place in Hochiminh between Danang Dragons and Hochiminh CW. Danang Dragons (1-0) got a very close victory on the road over Hochiminh CW (0-2). Danang Dragons managed to escape with a 2-point win 77-75 on Tuesday evening. Chris Dierker nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points and 19 rebounds for the winning side. Quinton Doggett came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds for Hochiminh CW in the defeat. Danang Dragons will meet Thang Long W. (#5) in the next round. Hochiminh CW will play again against Danang Dragons and hope to win that game.
    An interesting game for Saigon Heat (2-0) which played road game in Hanoi against Hanoi B. (0-1). Saigon Heat managed to get a 14-point victory 96-82. Tavarion Nix fired a double-double by scoring 32 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Saigon Heat's next round opponent will be Can Tho CF at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hanoi B. will play against Thang Long W. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.



    Thang Long W. - Can Tho CF 74-77

    Thang Long W. (0-1) recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by Can Tho CF (1-0) 77-74. Thang Long W. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
