    Thang Long upset Hanoi to complete the sweep of the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Thang Long W.. Hanoi B. managed to win second period 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Thang Long W. forced 19 Hanoi B. turnovers. Strangely Hanoi B. outrebounded Thang Long W. 52-34 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Jaywuan Hill (203-89, college: SW Baptist) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Naturalized American power forward Justin Young (201, college: Cal Poly Pomona) contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners.     Can Tho Catfish advanced into VBA Finals as they rallied past Saigon Heat in Game 2. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-16. But Saigon Heat won second period 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Can Tho CF forced 23 Saigon Heat turnovers. Dinh Thanh had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 18 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. American center Darius Lewis (211-94, college: Duquesne) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds and his fellow American import David Arnold (188, college: Mont.St.-Billings) scored 14 points and 8 assists. Four Saigon Heat players scored in double figures.
