Philippines rallied to the first victory at the 2015 SEA Games. They knocked down Vietnam for 1-1 record. Allana Lim (175-F-88) scored 17 points and grabbed 6 boards to pace the winners.
Philippines clinched a 20:13 lead after the opening quarter. They accumulated a 36:29 halftime advantage. Philippines went on a 32:11 rally in the third term to boost the gap. They erupted for 32 points in the fourth frame to cruise to the victory. Clare Castro (193-C-97) accounted for 13 points, while Afril Bernardino (165-G-91) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for Philippines. Ngoan Huynh (173-G-92) answered with 15 points for Vietnam. Bay Pham (165-G-93) had 10 points in the loss.
