Danang Dragons clinch VBA title - Nov 12, 2016


Danang Dragons clinch VBA title sweeping the Final series against Hochiminh 2-0. In the second game the underdogs posted an 85-78 win. They won the first period 26-21 and led 4 points at the halftime. Hochiminh City Wings however dominated the third period and managed to take a lead after a 23-15 rally. In the last stanza the Dragons however erupted with a 27-16 surge to seal the win.
Rudolphe Joly (208-C-92, college: Sheridan JC) was named MVP of the Finals posting high 26 points and 13 rebounds. Jimmy added 23 and Phuc scored 17. Jaywuan Hill (203-F/C-89, college: SW Baptist) ended up with 41 points and 15 boards in a loss.
