Al Sharjah (D1) has signed American 178cm guard Jasmine Carson, who played college basketball at LSU. Carson is the second import player on the team, joining CRO Jovana Mandic. Prior to joining Al Sharjah, Carson played for Bashkimi in the Kosovan Superliga. In 9 games, she had impressive averages of 16.3 points per game, 2.2 rpg, 2.9 apg, and 2.4 spg.
She won the NCAA championship title in 2023.
She attended Louisiana State University until 2023, and this is her first season in professional basketball. She also played for other colleges such as West Virginia University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
