TERRENCE WATSON

Newly promoted Hapoel Beer Sheva (Winner League) tabbed 32-year old American forward Terrence Watson (200-100kg-87, college: Ball State, agency: Interperformances). He started the season at Al Wasl in UAE D1 league. The last summer Watson played at Rain or Shine (PBA) in Filipino league where in 7 games he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 11.7rpg, 1.9apg and 3.3bpg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team was regular season runner-up in Israeli National League in 2017. Watson was also voted Eurobasket.com Israeli National League All-Imports Team back in 2015.
He is quite experienced player. Watson has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Finland (Helsinki Seagulls), Iceland (Haukar and Akranes IA), Israel (Maccabi Kiryat Gat and Maccabi Ashdod) and Philippines (SM Beermen).
Watson attended Ball State until 2011 and it is his eighth season as a professional player.
He could be described: Terrence is very athletic player, can play on power forward and forward positions. Great scorer and extraordinary rebounder - in first 6 games this season he has avg 28,8 pts & 16,2 rebs. Very strong in body-to-body duels with nice moves under the ring - using this he can post up higher players. Can penetrate into the paint easily, finishing with powerful dunk or layup. Runs fast in transitions and fastbreaks, needs a little space to score. Very useful player indeed.
