Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Naser (16-2) in Dubai on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Ahli Shabab (16-2) 120-114. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Al Naser. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Defending champion used an opportunity after Al Naser lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position which they share with defeated Al Naser.
Important game to mention about took place in Abu Dhabi. Eighth ranked Al Jazeera (5-13) saved a 1-point derby victory at home edging 6th ranked Banijas (7-11) 100-99 on Saturday evening. Newly promoted Al Jazeera maintains eighth position with 5-13 record. Banijas at the other side keep the sixth place with 11 games lost.
Bottom-ranked Al Ain is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 18th consecutive match to fifth ranked Al Bataeh (9-9) 74-58 on Saturday evening. Al Bataeh maintains fifth position with 9-9 record. Newly promoted Al Ain still closes the standings.
The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Al Wasl (14-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Al Dhafra (6-12). Al Wasl smashed Al Dhafra 96-67. Al Wasl have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Al Sharjah. Newly promoted Al Dhafra keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost.

In the last game of round 18 Al Sharjah smashed Al Wahda on the road 124-97.



Al Bataeh - Al Ain 74-58

Bottom-ranked Al Ain is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 18th consecutive match to fifth ranked Al Bataeh (9-9) 74-58 on Saturday evening. Al Bataeh maintains fifth position with 9-9 record. Newly promoted Al Ain still closes the standings.

Al Sharjah maintains third position with 14-4 record having just two points less than leader Al Naser, which they share with Al Wasl. Al Wahda lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth place with 15 games lost.

Al-Wahda basketball team beat the United Arab Emirates national team 85-76 in the match held Monday at Maktoum bin Mohammed Hall in Dubai as part of the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship.
