Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked Al Sharjah as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Al Sharjah defeated much higher ranked Al Wasl at home 91-76. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Al Wasl. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Al Sharjah have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Al Wasl. Al Wasl will play next round against strong Al Naser trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Dubai - Al Naser. Al Sharjah will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Undefeated Banijas (2-1) recorded its first loss on the court of sixth ranked Al Bataeh. Visitors were defeated by Al Bataeh 88-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Banijas. Al Bataeh maintains sixth position with 1-2 record. Banijas at the other side keep the fifth place with one game lost. Al Bataeh will play against Al Jazeera (#9) in Abu Dhabi in the next round. Banijas will have a break next round.
D1 top team - Ahli Shabab (3-0) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Al Dhafra (0-3) in Dubai 89-53. Ahli Shabab have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 3-0 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Al Dhafra still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Ahli Shabab will meet Al Ain (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Al Dhafra will play against Al Wahda and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Bottom-ranked Al Wahda is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their third consecutive match to ninth ranked Al Jazeera (0-3) 88-67. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Al Jazeera moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Al Wahda. Al-Wahda basketball team beat the United Arab Emirates national team 85-76 in the match held Monday at Maktoum bin Mohammed Hall in Dubai as part of the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship.
