There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in D1. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Al Naser defeated Al Jazeera in Dubai 87-74. Al Jazeera will play next round against strong Ahli Shabab trying to get back on the winning streak. Al Naser will try to continue on its current victory against Al Dhafra on the road.
Al Wahda (0-1) recorded a loss in Dubai. Visitors were rolled over by Ahli Shabab (1-0) 101-53. Ahli Shabab will play against Al Jazeera (#10) in Abu Dhabi in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Wahda will play against Al Bataeh (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Quite upsetting was Al Bataeh's 24-point home defeat in a game versus Al Wasl who crushed hosts Al Wasl will meet at home Banijas (#5) in the next round. Al Bataeh will play against Al Wahda in Abu Dhabi and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 2 winless Al Ain lost to undefeated Banijas on the opponent's court 67-105. Al Sharjah outscored Al Dhafra in a home game 90-46.



Ahli Shabab - Al Wahda 101-53

Al Wahda (0-1) recorded a loss in Dubai. Visitors were rolled over by Ahli Shabab (1-0) 101-53. Ahli Shabab will play against Al Jazeera (#10) in Abu Dhabi in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Wahda will play against Al Bataeh (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Banijas used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Al Ain 105-67 on Monday night. Banijas will meet Al Wasl (#4) in the next round. Al Ain will play against Al Sharjah and hope to win that game.

Al-Wahda basketball team beat the United Arab Emirates national team 85-76 in the match held Monday at Maktoum bin Mohammed Hall in Dubai as part of the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship.
