The Regular Season in D1 just started. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Ahli Shabab defeated Al Bataeh in Dubai 73-65. Al Bataeh will play next round against strong Al Wasl trying to get back on the winning streak. Ahli Shabab will try to continue on its current victory against Al Wahda in Abu Dhabi.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Jazeera (0-1) in Abu Dhabi. Hosts were defeated by Al Sharjah (1-0) 82-67. Al Sharjah will play against Al Dhafra (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Jazeera will play against Al Naser in Dubai to get more than just one victory in their record.
Quite upsetting was Al Ain's (#5) 51-point home defeat in a game versus Al Wasl who smashed hosts Al Wasl will meet Al Bataeh (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Al Ain will play against Banijas in Abu Dhabi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
And what about another game where Al Naser (#6) beat Al Wahda by 41 points 101-60 on the road. Al Naser's next round opponent will be Al Jazeera (#9) in Abu Dhabi and are hoping to win another game. Al Wahda will play on the road against Ahli Shabab in Dubai and hope to win that game.

Al-Wahda basketball team beat the United Arab Emirates national team 85-76 in the match held Monday at Maktoum bin Mohammed Hall in Dubai as part of the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship.
