GARY SPRINGER

Newly promoted Al Ain (D1) inked 30-year old American power forward Gary Springer (206-109kg-88, college: Iona). He has played for the last three years at GIE Maile Matrix (UBA) in the U.S. He averaged an impressive 18.9ppg, 11.0rpg and 3.2apg. A very good season in his career as he was voted to UBA All-Star Game. Springer's team won Mitchell Americas Cup for two years in a row (2017 and 2018).

He received All-MAAC 3rd Team award back in 2009 at his college time.

Springer is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Dominican Rep., UBA (Atlanta A.), ABA (Atlanta Wildcats) and TRBL (Triangle RnG).

Springer attended Iona College until 2009 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.

Al-Wahda beats UAE team at 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship - 12 days ago
Al-Wahda basketball team beat the United Arab Emirates national team 85-76 in the match held Monday at Maktoum bin Mohammed Hall in Dubai as part of the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship.
