Al Jazeera Abu Dhabi club announced that they agreed with the 39 years old Serbian Coach Marko Icelic to be the head coach of Senior Team for season 2018-2019, Actually coach Marko comes back to the first team that he coached in UAE, he coached that team season 2015-2016 and made some special results in that season.
Last season Coach Marko coached Al Sharjah Club and led the team to be the champion of the regular season, semi-final of league and Emirates cup plus the finalist of President Cup.
previously coach Marko coached in top leagues in Macedonia, Bosnia, Serbia and he was a head coach of Serbia U18 National Team when he won the Silver Medal in European Championships U18 in Wroclaw 2011 and Head Coach of U16 National Team when he won the Bronze Medal in European Championships U16 in Lithuania 2012.

DAVARIS MCGOWENS Al Wahda (D1) signed 24-year old American forward Davaris McGowens (201-104kg-94). He just graduated from North Carolina A&T State University (NCAA). As mentioned above McGowens is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro. He was voted All-MEAC 3rd Team in 2018 at his college time.
