Todd O'Brien
Al Naser Dubai (D1) landed 28-year old American (has also Armenian passport) center Todd O'Brien (211-110kg-89, college: UAB). He played in the summer at Seraeyett in Palestinian PBBA. O'Brien managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In four Asia Champions Cup games he averaged impressive 19.3ppg, 11.8rpg (#3 in the league), 3.3apg, 1.0spg and 1.5bpg. The last season he played at BK Ventspils in Latvian LBL where in 14 games he had 4.2ppg and 4.8rpg. O'Brien helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. He also played that season for Sagesse in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. In 6 games he recorded 10.2ppg, 12.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.0bpg. The other team O'Brien played that season for was Urartu Yerevan in Russian Superleague 1. In 9 games he got 14.2ppg, 10.4rpg and 1.6spg.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball O'Brien experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. O'Brien has played previously professionally in France (Nantes), Japan (Orange Vikings), Poland (MKS Dabrowa Gornicza), Qatar (Al Arabi) and Latvia (Jekabpils).
He attended University of Alabama at Birmingham until 2012 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.

Al-Wahda beats UAE team at 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship - 12 days ago
Al-Wahda basketball team beat the United Arab Emirates national team 85-76 in the match held Monday at Maktoum bin Mohammed Hall in Dubai as part of the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship.
