Marko Icelic
Al Sharjah Club has agreed terms with the 38 years old Serbian coach Marko Icelic to be assistant coach of Senior team and Coordinator of youth teams in the club, it won't be the first experience for coach Marko in Emirates, he coached Al Jazeera Abu Dhabi club season 2015-2016 and leaded them to made good results.
Coach Marko has worked in several countries in Europe before he started his experience in Middle east, he coached in Macedonia season 2014-2015, in Bosnia season 2013-2014 and succeed to reach the cup competition semifinal and in Serbia since the beginning of his coaching career until 2013. The young serbian coach was head coach of Serbia U16 National Team in 2012 where he won the bronze Medal of European Championship U16 in Lithuania, head coach of Serbia U18 in 2011 where he won the Silver Medal in European Championship U18 in Poland and assistant coach of U20 national team in 2010 and 2013.

Al-Wahda beats UAE team at 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship - 12 days ago
Al-Wahda basketball team beat the United Arab Emirates national team 85-76 in the match held Monday at Maktoum bin Mohammed Hall in Dubai as part of the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship. Al-Wehda also beat the American University team 92-57 in the opening day of the championship. The team will face the Philippines' Mighty Sports on Tuesday and Homenetmen Lebanon's team on Wednesday.
