Dubai signs JaCorey Williams

JaCorey Williams

BC Dubai (Adriatic League) signed 30-year old American center JaCorey Williams (203cm-102kg-1994, college: MTSU) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He was the best rebounder at Herd That (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In three TBT games just recently, he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.0apg, 1.3spg, and 1.0bpg. Last season, he played at Hapoel Jerusalem (Winner League) in the Israeli league, where he recorded 12.4ppg, 6.4rpg, and 1.2apg in 23 games. Williams helped them win the cup and reach the league semifinals. In the 2023-24 season, he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention. He also briefly played for KK Buducnost VOLI Podgorica (Erste Liga) in the Montenegrin league.
He is a very experienced player. Williams has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). He has played professionally in France (JL Bourg), Greece (PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki), Israel (Hapoel Gilboa Galil), Italy (Dolomiti Trentino and Napoli), Montenegro, South Korea (Mobis Phoebus), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge), and NBA Summer League (Cleveland Cavaliers).
Among many awards, he was also voted All-C-USA Player of the Year and All-C-USA Newcomer of the Year back in 2017.
Williams graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2017 and it'll be his eighth season as a pro player. He played also for The University of Arkansas for 3 years.
