Round 4 (Regular Season): Titans hand first loss to ACES

The most surprising game was the first loss of ACES (3-1) on the court of sixth ranked Titans on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by Titans 111-109. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ACES. Titans (2-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Black Dragons and Chichi AWC. ACES at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Macau BB and Islanders. Titans is looking forward to face league's second-placed Macau BB on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. ACES will play against Islanders and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Filipino Islanders (3-1) which hosted in their biggest opponent Hong Kong Black Dragons (2-2). Third ranked Islanders managed to get a 6-point victory 121-115. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Islanders keep a position of league leader, which they share with ACES and Macau BB. Black Dragons at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Titans and Chichi AWC. Islanders will play against league's leader ACES in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Black Dragons will play against Phuket MW and hope to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Thailand Phuket MW is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked Filipino Chichi AWC (2-2) 140-112 on Thursday evening. Chichi AWC moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Black Dragons and Titans. Loser Phuket MW still closes the standings with four games lost. Chichi AWC will meet Guangzhou (#7) on the road in the next round. Phuket MW will play against Black Dragons and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 4 bottom-ranked Guangzhou was beaten by Macau BB on the road 100-82.



Islanders - Black Dragons 121-115

An interesting game for Filipino Islanders (3-1) which hosted in their biggest opponent Hong Kong Black Dragons (2-2). Third ranked Islanders managed to get a 6-point victory 121-115. No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Macau Macau BB (3-1) beat at home 8th ranked Chinese Loong Lions (1-3) 100-82 on Thursday. Macau BB have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with ACES and Islanders. Loser Loong Lions dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. Macau BB will meet at home Titans (#4) in the next round. Guangzhou will play against Chichi AWC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
