Mbachu number one in Thailand TGBL for round 3

American Guard Victor Mbachu (188-G-1992) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for New Era Elks, receiving a Hoops Agents TGBL Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 33-year old player was the main contributor (38 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush CNX Orion (#8, 1-3) with 18-point margin 89-71. Elks was forced-out from the top positions in Thailand TGBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. New Era E. will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Mbachu had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Elks's top player in his first season with the team. Former The University of Texas at El Paso star has very solid stats this year. Mbachu is league's best scorer averaging so far 32.8ppg. Mbachu is in league's top in assists (6th best: 5.8apg) and averages impressive 62.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American Justin Bradley (196-F) of Bangkok Wolverines. Bradley had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Wolverines lost that game 81-86 to Sathorn G. (2-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Bradley is a newcomer at Bangkok W., but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Ian Donaldson (195-SG) of Bangkok Gladiators (#10). Donaldson scored 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Donaldson's great performance the Gladiators lost 54-80 to Urban R. (#9, 1-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Bangkok G. can only dream about fighting for top spots in Water Division. Donaldson has individually a great season in Thailand. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.7ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 14.7rpg (#1 in league).

8. TJ Shoffner (178-PG) of ST Grizzlies - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Javan Smith (190-G-1996) of New Force - 23 points and 7 rebounds
10. Maurice Butler (180-PG-1997) of Sathorn G. - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
