Marius Hopkins' triple-double lands him TEBA Player of the Week award

American Guard Marius Hopkins (190-G) put on an amazing game in the last round for Pattani Raptors, receiving a Hoops Agents TEBA Player of the Week award for round 7.
The player recorded a triple-double of 26 points adding also 20 rebounds and 13 assists, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Manta Rays (#8, 0-5) with 48-point margin 120-72. Raptors is placed at 4th position in Thailand TEBA. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 5 games and recorded just two victories. Hopkins turned to be Raptors' top player in his first season with the team. Former South Suburban College star has very solid stats this year. Hopkins is in league's top in points (6th best: 23.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 14.2rpg), assists (2nd best: 6.7apg) and averages impressive 51.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Raptors' star - young American Darrius Austin (201-F-1998). Austin had a very good evening with a double-double of 29 points and 21 rebounds. Of course together with Hopkins he helped Pattani Raptors with another comfortable win outscoring Manta Rays (#8, 0-5) 120-72. This victory allowed Raptors to move up to 4th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Raptors managed to get this year. Austin is a newcomer at Raptors, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.2ppg (#8). He also registered 18.2 boards per game. Former Feather River College star Austin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Jamarcus Clark (196-G) of Chumphon Crocodiles (#5). Clark showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 12 assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Clark's great performance the Crocodiles lost 97-102 to the league's current leader Coyotes (#1, 7-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Clark has individually a great season in Thailand. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.6ppg (7th best), rebounds with 12.2rpg (4th best) and assists with 5.4apg (6th best).

9. Rene Alexandre (183-PG) of Crocodiles - 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Trevond Holloway (188-G) of Coyotes - 15 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
