Fields' double-double lands him TEBA Player of the Week award

27-year old American guard Accheaus Fields (187-G-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Bangkok Coyotes and receives a Hoops Agents TEBA Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Sharks (#2, 4-2) with 16-point margin 108-92. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Coyotes to consolidate first place in the Thailand TEBA. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Coyotes already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Fields had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Coyotes' top player in his first season with the team. Averett University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Fields is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.8ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 3.5spg and 56.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Darrius Austin (201-F-1998) of Pattani Raptors. He is American forward in his first season at Raptors. In the last game Austin recorded an impressive double-double of 29 points and 22 rebounds. Bad luck as Raptors lost that game 68-112 to slightly higher-ranked Red Dragons (#3, 4-2). Raptors managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Raptors managed to get this year. Austin is a newcomer at Raptors and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#8). He also registered 17.5 boards per game. Former Feather River College star Austin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to Eric Freeman (201-SF-1997) of Pattaya Red Dragons (#3). Freeman scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Red Dragons, leading his team to a 112-68 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Raptors (#5, 1-5). Red Dragons needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Freeman has a very solid season. In 3 games in Thailand he scored 14.3ppg.
