Robert Kowalczyk gets MVP of the Week award for Thailand TEBA (by Hoops Agents)

Polish Robert Kowalczyk (202-PF-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Pattaya Red Dragons and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TEBA Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 29-year old power forward had a double-double of 35 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Crocodiles (#7, 0-3) with 24-point margin 99-75. Red Dragons maintains the 3rd position in Thailand TEBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Red Dragons will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Kowalczyk had a remarkable 76.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Red Dragons' top player in his first season with the team. Kowalczyk has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 18.4ppg), rebounds (6th best: 12.2rpg) and averages solid 57.7% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was American guard Kendrick Williams (182-G) of second-ranked Bangkok Sharks. Williams impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 40 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Sharks to another comfortable win 97-79 over slightly lower-ranked Raptors (#4, 1-4) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Sharks consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Williams is a newcomer at Sharks and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.4ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 10.8rpg and 7.6apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Jaron Kirkley (191-G-1997) of top-ranked Bangkok Coyotes. Kirkley showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Coyotes, leading his team to a 91-81 win against Manta Rays (#8, 0-3). Coyotes started extremely well this year. They recorded 5 victories without losing a single game. Kirkley turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Kirkley has a great season in Thailand. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.4ppg (4th best) and assists with 5.4apg (6th best). Kirkley attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
