Anthony Vanhook's triple-double lands him TEBA Player of the Week award

American Forward Anthony Vanhook (193-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Pattaya Red Dragons and receives a Hoops Agents TEBA Player of the Week award for round 3.
He recorded a triple-double of 27 points adding also 17 rebounds and 13 assists, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Manta Rays (#7, 0-1) with 47-point margin 115-68. Red Dragons maintains the 3rd position in Thailand TEBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Red Dragons will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Vanhook had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Red Dragons' top player in his first season with the team. The University of North Carolina at Charlotte graduate has very impressive stats this year. Vanhook is in league's top in points (3rd best: 27.3ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 14.0rpg), assists (2nd best: 7.0apg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 57.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Lincoln Smith (196-F). He is American forward in his 2nd season at Red Dragons. In the last game Smith recorded an impressive 42 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course together with Vanhook he helped Pattaya Red Dragons with another comfortable win outscoring Manta Rays (0-1) 115-68. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Smith is well-known at Red Dragons and together with Anthony Vanhook he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.0ppg (#1). He also registered 11.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Trevond Holloway (188-G) of league's leader Bangkok Coyotes. Holloway scored 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Coyotes, leading his team to a 69-67 win against Crocodiles (#6, 0-1). Coyotes started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Holloway turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Holloway has a very solid season. In 3 games in Thailand he scored 16.7ppg.
