T-REX Nakhon Ratchasima adds Scharer to their roster, ex Dolphins

T-REX Nakhon Ratchasima (TBL) added to their roster experienced 36-year old American point guard Avery Scharer (185cm-1986, college: Shoreline CC). The last time (2022) he played at Dolphins in Vietnamese VBA league. Scharer missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Scharer has played also professionally in Malaysia (WM Dragons), Taiwan (New Taipei CTBC DEA), ABA (Seattle M.) and Thailand (Sting Rays, Hitech, OSK R. Airlines and Dunkin' Raptors). His team won Thailand TBSL Regular Season in 2018 and 2019. He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Thailand Basketball League Player of the Year in 2017, 2018 and 2022.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at T-REX Nakhon Ratchasima.
Scharer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
He graduated from Shoreline Community College in 2012 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
