SPU reaches the Final in TOA WTBL beating CU 2-1 in the semifinal series. SPU needed a decisive 82-71 win in Game 3. SPU managed to take control of the majority of the game and sealed the victory.
Earlier Shoot it Dragons advanced to the Finals sweeping the series against DPU 2-0.
