Dunking Raptors keep Avery Scharer for another season

The Khon Kaen Raptors (TBSL) re-signed 33-year old American point guard Avery Scharer (185-86, college: Shoreline CC). He was a team leader there last season. In 16 TBSL games he was second best scorer with impressive 26.5ppg and recorded 2.0rpg. Scharer helped them to win the league title. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Thailand TBSL Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Guard of the Year.
He attended Shoreline Community College until 2012 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
