WTBL Round 6: SECCO loses to Chulalongkorn

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in WTBL. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most important game in the last round took place in between third ranked SECCO (3-4) and sixth ranked Chulalongkorn (3-2) on Saturday night. SECCO was defeated by Chulalongkorn on the road 67-83. Chulalongkorn moved-up to third place, which they share with Shoot It D. SECCO at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with TOA U19. Chulalongkorn is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Rangsit (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. SECCO will play against TOA U19 (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Sripatum Univ. (5-0) which played road game in against 4th ranked TOA U19 (3-4). Top-ranked Sripatum Univ. managed to get a 11-point victory 65-54. Undefeated Sripatum Univ. have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with DPU. TOA U19 lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with SECCO. Sripatum Univ. will play against BU (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. TOA U19 will play against SECCO and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
WTBL top team - DPU (5-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked BU (2-3) 77-65. Undefeated DPU have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record, which they share with Sripatum Univ. Loser BU keeps the seventh place with three games lost. DPU will meet Shoot It D. (#4) in the next round. BU will play against the league's second-placed Sripatum Univ. and hope to secure a win.
Bottom-ranked Rangsit is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to fifth ranked Shoot It D. (3-2) 114-45. Shoot It D. moved-up to third place, which they share with Chulalongkorn. Rangsit at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Shoot It D.'s next round opponent will be league's leader DPU and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rangsit will play against Chulalongkorn (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
