Hitech rallied past Luang to sweep the series. Hitech dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Luang's 26. Hitech forced 20 Luang turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Luang's players. Filipino-American point guard Jason Brickman (181-91, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Avery Scharer (185-86, college: Shoreline CC) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Scharer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hitech players scored in double figures. Hitech's coach Chris Daleo felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Russell Permenter (203-88, college: Providence) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and Laos guard Nouchan Thavong scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.

Former international Anucha Langsui (200-SF-93) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked TGE, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 3. The 25-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, nine rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass SWU (#8, 1-3) with 37-point margin 92-55.
