Hitech rallied past Luang to sweep the series. Hitech dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Luang's 26. Hitech forced 20 Luang turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Luang's players. Filipino-American point guard Jason Brickman (181-91, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Avery Scharer (185-86, college: Shoreline CC) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Scharer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hitech players scored in double figures. Hitech's coach Chris Daleo felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Russell Permenter (203-88, college: Providence) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and Laos guard Nouchan Thavong scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.

Kabayan outscored PEA to even the series at 1-1. Kabayan outrebounded PEA 55-33 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by PEA's players. American center Michael Earl (203-85, college: Utah St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import forward Nick Demusis (193, college: Whittier) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Kabayan players scored in double figures. Kabayan's coach Valit Aphaisuwan felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jamaican-American center Anthony Allen (213-92, college: Oklahoma St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and Filipino-Canadian guard Alfred Mandani (185-87, college: Missouri S&T) added 17 points in the effort for PEA.
