Canadian Nicholas Wiggins (198-PF-91) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Hitech and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 27-year old power forward had a double-double of 31 points and ten rebounds, while his team beat Kabayan (#2, 3-1) 113-106. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Hitech to consolidate first place in the Thailand TBSL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Hitech already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Wiggins had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Hitech, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Orangeville A's graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wiggins is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.8ppg. Wiggins is in league's top in and averages solid 71.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 30-year old American center Raymond Miller (204-C-88) of Pilipinas. Miller impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 19 rebounds. Of course Pilipinas cruised to a 100-93 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked SWU (#6, 1-3). This victory allowed Pilipinas to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Miller is one of the most experienced players at Pilipinas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.5ppg (#2). He also registered 15.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Singapore Qing Toh (183-SG-95) of Adroit (#8). Toh got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds and four assists. Despite Toh's great performance Adroit lost 93-102 to slightly higher-ranked Malaysia Matrix (#7, 1-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Adroit can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 4 games. Too bad for Toh he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Toh has a very solid season. In 4 games in Thailand he scored 15.8ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jason Brickman (181-PG-91) of Hitech - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists
5. Yi Hou Wong (196-F-96) of Malaysia Matrix - 30 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Emanuel Malou (206-C-93) of Kabayan - 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Anthony Allen (213-C-92) of PEA - 18 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Michael Earl (203-C-85) of Kabayan - 28 points and 9 rebounds
9. Scott Sill (206-F-92) of Pilipinas - 18 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists
10. Avery Scharer (185-PG-86) of Hitech - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
