Laos Guard Nouchan Thavong (G) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Luang, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 3.
The player recorded a triple-double of 25 points adding also 11 rebounds and 12 assists, while his team beat Pilipinas (2-2) 86-71. Thanks to this victory Luang moved-up to the 4th position in Thailand TBSL. Luang is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Thavong had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Luang, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Nouchan Thavong has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.8ppg) and assists (4th best: 8.3apg).

The second best player in last round's games was 22-year old Malaysian Chun Hong Ting (193-C-96) of Malaysia Matrix. Ting had a very good evening with a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Malaysia Matrix lost that game 91-97 to Kabayan (3-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Ting is one of the most experienced players at Malaysia Matrix and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Nick Demusis (193-F) of league's second-best Kabayan. Demusis showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, six rebounds and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of Kabayan, leading his team to a 97-91 win against Malaysia Matrix (#7, 1-3). Kabayan needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Demusis has a very solid season. In 4 games in Thailand he scored 16.0ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Thomas Enerva (203-C) of Luang - 17 points, 18 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Raymond Miller (204-C-88) of Pilipinas - 22 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Michael Earl (203-C-85) of Kabayan - 20 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists
7. Danai Kongkum (193-PF-85) of PEA - 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists

10. Emanuel Malou (206-C-93) of Kabayan - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
