XAVIER ALEXANDER

Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers (ASEAN League) signed 29-year old American guard Xavier Alexander (198-102kg-88, college: S.Nazarene). It is actually his comeback to Singapore Slingers as he has played here before. Alexander played this summer at Hitech in Thailand TBL league. In 19 games he had 11.8ppg, 5.9rpg, 3.1apg and 2.8spg (in top 2). Alexander helped them to win the league title. The last season he played at Singapore Slingers where in 22 ASEAN League games he recorded very impressive stats: 24.0ppg, 9.1rpg, 7.3apg (top 3) and 2.7spg (in top 3). Great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-ASEAN League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
The former Southern Nazarene University (NCAA Div.II) standoutis in his eighth season in pro basketball.

Kabayan - PEA 76-61 Kabayan outscored PEA to advance into the championship series. Kabayan looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Luang - Hitech 74-101 Hitech rallied past Luang to sweep the series. Hitech dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Luang's 26.
