Jamaican-American Anthony Allen (213-C-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for Bangkok Tigers and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 26-year old center had a double-double of 34 points and twenty two rebounds, while his team outclassed Mad Goat (#8, 6-12) with 33-point margin 108-75. Bangkok Tigers maintains the 6th position in Thailand TBL. Bangkok Tigers is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-11 record. Allen has many years of experience at Bangkok Tigers, through which he has constantly improved. Oklahoma State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Allen is in league's top in points (5th best: 23.7ppg) and averages solid 4.3bpg and 56.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 33-year old American forward Michael Earl (203-F-85) of Mekong United. Earl impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 40 points and 23 rebounds. Of course he led Mekong United to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked T-REX (#10, 2-16) 112-59. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Mekong United dropped in the standings to second-to-the-bottom (9th) position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-12 record. Earl is one of the most experienced players at Mekong United and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#3). He also registered 10.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Justin Howard (209-C-81) of TGE (#3). Howard scored 25 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of TGE, leading his team to a 84-70 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Black Scorpions (#5, 7-11). TGE needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 6 lost games. Howard has a very solid season. In 3 games in Thailand he scored 15.3ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Kevin Van Hook (181-PG-83) of Mekong United - 32 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists
